Story
I’ve decided to take part in this years Decembhair to help raise both awareness and money for the very important cause of Bowel Cancer Australia, while honouring Brendan.
While going through treatment Brendan was super keen to get his mullet/mohawk dyed bright blue. However with the added risk of covid and with his hair thinning/weaken so much by chemo, he decided the risks outweighed the benefits.
This is something I can and want to do for Brendan. The slogan ‘Be bold for bowel cancer’ totally sums him up. He was so bold, taking everything in his stride and living life to the full.
It’s really important for me to get some blue in my hair not only for Brendan but also to represent bowel cancer but I’ll also put my own spin on it. Brendan loved everything bright and bold, so I feel I have to go with more colours (turquoise, blue, purple & pink).
I would really appreciate if you could help support me in raising as much money as possible. Feel free to join the bandwagon and be bold for bowel cancer this Decembhair.
